milestones: 800,000 Points.....A Long Time Coming Milestone

It has been such a long time coming. I had two months without any internet at home and completely got out of my mojo for quite some time on Active Rain. Today....however, is a quick and easy milestone. Made a lot of friends. Sitting at 117 referrals from Active Rain blog posts. All and all it keeps me motivated. Not that the number matters, but when you hit a great number it is worth a bit of celebrating for me......Can't wait to hit one million.

OK....it's official. As of this blog post, I have finally reached 700,000 points. No small feat for me. If I was in love with numbers, I would have quit blogging at 100,000 points. But the fact is that Active Rain has done a lot for me. I have reached this milestone with a lot of other add - ons. Specifically, I have garnered 92 referrals from my 700,000 points. To be quite frank, I wouldn't be here if the blogging didn't work. But it does. I've been presented with a myriad of other blogs, but Active Rain creates the most activity. … (16 comments)

milestones: 600,000.....Even I'm Amazed

OK....nothing fancy here. 600,000 points as of of June 3, 2011. From 400,000 to 500,000, it was the longest stretch in my Active Rain blogosphere. From 500,000 to 600,00, it went by like the snap of a finger. More referrals and more education, but my favorite of all favorites is that I got more real (not tacit, but real) relationships within Active Rain.
My biggest milestone in this 100,000 is that national publications have asked me to begin to write for them. This gives me the added exposure that I need to drip over my clients even more! That's what Active … (27 comments)

One of my favorite bi-products of Active Rain is the milestones. I don't look at milestones often, but I don't mind seeing it every once and a while.
Active Rain take a lot of work! It does, but nothing great in life comes easy. 86 Referrals has me convinced that this isn't a hobby, but truly a part of an awesome business plan.

So....finally it's here! I've made the the half million point mark on Active Rain.
500,000 SMACKEROOS!!!!!! Pretty big accomplishment for me personally. I remember when Randy Keberlein said to me "dude, you gotta do this Active Rain blogging thing. I don't know how it works, but it just does." I said what is it? What do you do? He couldn't really explain it but said that he had 30,000 points and was getting calls, hits and a lot of Google juice. I said I didn't know how to create a blog. OK....so it's a long time since I've joined A.R. Over the course of time, I've written a lot. As of today, I sit at a new milestone. I'm just 100 away from 1,000 posts. And to think that there was a day that I didn't think that I'd even hit 10 posts. Needless to say, I have the requisite success to sing the praises of Active Rain.

milestones: The Last 30,000 were the hardest to 400,000 Points

Well, it's great to finally hit that milestone, but I'll tell you, it's been a chore. First you go through the usual once a year blogging lull, then when your heart is back from vacation, the computer crashes. Then, there's travel, meetings and business. When all is said and done, this is the hardest 100,000 points I've ever earned. Needless to say, 400,000 is finally here.

OK....I'm there....FINALLY THE MONKEY IS OFF MY BACK. I'm real. I really am a part of Active Rain.
I guess that I've always had my eyes set on the 300,000 point number ever since joining Active Rain two and 1/2 years ago. My story is simple. I'm a net neophyte who was dragged into Active Rain kicking and screaming. I was told that this was the wave of the future. I was told that it was a great way to get your name out on the net. This is a post that doesn't have a lot of meat in it. I've been a member of Active Rain now for almost two years. Today, I hit my 500th post. That's 250 posts a year or between 5 and 6 per week. I never thought that I'd last this long. Nor did I think that I'd experience the success that I've achieved. Needless to say, I'm ecstatic at where I'm atand grateful for all that has occurred while playing in the rain. milestones: Tangible ways to make money off of Active Rain - my 200,000 point experience!!!

I was going to title this 200,000 points. Yes, I've hit the big 2 - 0 - 0. It's such a milestone. But when thinking about writing on this, I began to reflect on how my life has changed since joining in the rain.
I joined midway through 07. I didn't know what a blog was. My friend, Randal's Blog, Randy Keberlein, invited me to join Active Rain. After much persuasion about this stupid internet posting site, I reluctantly decided to join. Needless to say, it's been a whirlwind ride with many benefits, many of which truly are tangible.

OK....this is the week of milestones for me for playing in the RAIN. I've notched my 100th subscriber to my posts. I'm not really sure why that is. I guess people think that I'm intelligent or have something worthwhile to say. Maybe, they're just realists and know that I have something intelligent or worthwhile to say some of the time and want to be around for that one eye-opening moment.

milestones: #2 on Active Rain Ain't So Bad in Illinois!

With this post I pass a great man in Illinois to become #2 in the State. I joined Active Rain about 1.5 yers ago. Not that this is a significant milestone. But I do have to say that the person I'm passing is just an awesome human being, wonderful home stager and one of the top professionals in any facet of real estate in Illinois. That's about all that I can say. I've hit it....or I will with this post. It's been a wild ride. What's happened in my 18 months since joining?

SECONDLY....I'm in the process of taking my 13th loan application since joining AR. I thought that this would take off a lot quicker, but it took a while for me to get into the zone. 1001 comments. Wow...I've been happy about hitting certain point levels and certain recognition, but I just realized that I just hit my 1001 comments on my posts. That in an of itself shows longevity and consistency. I do have more gray hairs, but I feel that it's been a blast. I've met so many awesome people....and have built some great relationships with people here. But I've put a number of transactions forth as well.
