sons: Coach "Dad"

Can't wait to coach my first football game tomorrow! I have a 7 year old and a 9 year old both in two different sessions of the same league. We have a more popular "Tri-City Football" that's been around from when I was a kid. The reality is that I loved football, but hated Tri-city football. They had practice every day of the week or 4 out of 5 days a week. Too much for kids that age. Saint Charles, Geneva and Batavia all participate in Tri-City programs, but I dont' want them to experience what I've experienced. I have a (13 comments)

Dad's, I have 3 sons. Yes....MY THREE SONS. I have a 9, 7 and 3 year old sons. I am a blessed man. Organized Chaos....nothing short of a dad raising a bunch of future leaders of America. I'm to raise just steller men. But I'm having a blast with them now. My oldest has the best heart ever. The second oldest is the clown and the sports jock, and the third is the one who is is kind and loving and a veritable tank - is such a combination possible? I have the boy scout's Pinewood Derby this weekend. I have never placed and now I have 2 sons in the race. My dad always made sure that my brother and I had kick ass cars. We never lost. Now things are so hi tech. There's one local guy who took his car to a wind tunnel at General Motors. Needless to say a lot of the intent of the sport has been lost....that's the focus on the kids. My kids do everything except for the power table saw (they need to advance in life with their limbs in tact). Anyway, any suggestions that gives the kids some tricks (13 comments)
