weather: The Rain Sucks When It Comes with Lightning - 04/11/12 11:33 PM
I haven't been blogging much over the last 2 weeks.  I have 103 referrals from the Rain and it's a part of my business plan to be Active in the Rain.  But no...I haven't blogged much for two weeks.  What's scary is that it takes 3 weeks to form a habit...yikes!!!
Two weeks ago we had major storms that went through our neck of the woods and lightning blew out our modem and wireless.  I now have spent almost 2 weeks with Comcast and the wireless company getting it back up, but it takes a minute to load a page or … (40 comments)

weather: April's Showers are going to bring a Florist Shop - 04/23/11 03:51 AM
April's showers bring May flowers.  If that the case, I'll have a florist shop.  For two weeks, we've had no, and I mean, no sun whatsoever.  Gross!  I am not one who quibbles about the weather.  I like inclement weather, but this is non-ceasing.  With the amount of rain we've had recently, I keep looking for Noah....I keep looking for the animals coming out two by two.  At least, for Easter, it appears that there is a break in the action, but the weather resport indicates that we're going to be mired in this crap for another week or so....
It's … (4 comments)

weather: 1 Week after Dodd-Frank, I'm...... - 04/09/11 09:40 AM
Today....I've worked, worked and worked.  I wanted to make sure that I got my work done as the temperature was to climb from a balmy 41 to today's temp of somewhere in the 70s with the 80s hitting us tomorrow.
We did all of our outside work this morning; We did all of our homework this morning; I did office work early this afternoon, and tonight, I'll probably relax and take it easy a bit.... Just so amazing.  Winter has left and Summer seems to have arrived a bit early.  I hope not too early as I can't stand the hot … (7 comments)

weather: Microburst Rips through Home and Saint Charles....PRICELESS!!!!! - 08/06/08 05:00 AM
Wow....wanted to write a great post on the ressurection of Brett Favre last night.  However, we had a storm that came through our town.  I grew up in Saint Charles and never heard or have seen what I saw last night.
It started with my brother and sister and our spouses and my father taking my mom out to celebrate for her 70th birthday.  We got to dinner and the storm rolled in.  The place that we ate at made us leave the restaurant and move to a place with no windows as the epicenter of the storm rolled over.  After … (13 comments)

weather: Let it snow, let it snow, let is snow - 12/04/07 02:13 PM
I've had more fun with my kids this year.  My oldest turned 8 and the next 6, 5, 2 and 1.  The older two finally get the hang of football and we have played more football this year.  It's been a blast.  I love the snow....but with so much fun with my children playing football, I wished that it would be postponed for a couple of weeks....maybe just in time for Christmas.  However, tonight we are to get 4-6 inches of that white stuff.  I know that I could teach them football in the snow, but I think that I'd be … (6 comments)
