We all experience disappointments, fear, and worry, how we respond to these thoughts will determine their impact on our life. The best way to eliminate these negatives from our lives is to take action. Consistent activity leaves little room for negative thoughts. When a negative thought pops into your mind, write it down, examine it and then burn the paper. Ask yourself, what is the best use of my time right now, and then act on the answer.

Make today the day that you let go of fear, worry and jealousy. Instead look for the positive in everything you do. Expect success and back it up with action and you will be successful.

Question: Are you letting fear, worry or jealousy sink your ship of success?

Quote: "All the water in the world cannot sink a ship unless it gets on the inside of it. All the sorrow, fear, anxiety, frustration, jealousy and worry in the world cannot sink a person unless it gets inside your mind." - Ed Foreman

Success always takes place in the framework of high expectation. We attract in life what we focus on with the expectation that it will become a reality. Create a massive vision for your life, your business and your relationships and focus on the good it will bring you. When a negative thought enters your mind, shift to your vision and be grateful for the path that you are on.

Question: Do you have big dreams? Do you have a vision that makes you want to get up and enjoy the magic that life offers. If not, why not? If it is true that we get what we expect, and it is, why not expect the best?

Quote: “Dream lofty dreams, and as you dream, so shall you become. Your Vision is the promise of what you shall one day be. Your Ideal is the prophecy of what you shall at last unveil.” -- James Allen

Increasing Profits in Uncertain Times!

More than ever business owners and professionals are recognizing the value of having multiple streams of income. A plan B if you will. The problem is, there are so many ways to make money out there, that it boggles the mind. A confused mind does not take action.

So how does one go about adding one or more income streams to their business or profession without working 24 hours a day?

I'm going to share the approach I use to create multiple streams of income, take from it what you will, if an idea makes sense, run with it. If not, that OK.

Look to your business or profession and ask yourself what do my clients need? How can you add value and at the same time increase your bottom line? (That does not mean that everything you share with your clients needs to generate income. In fact, part of good service is looking for ways to help your clients and other contacts be successful.)

I'm a professional network marketer, I help individuals who are looking for a plan B start and succeed in a work from home business. I also help other network marketers increase the success in their business.

When I asked myself this question, I realized that my clients and associates want to increase their effectiveness in the marketplace.

Add products and services that meet these needs to your marketing mix When selecting products or services to add, be sure to include one that can replace your income, should something happen to your main occupation.

Since my clients and associates want to build sustaining relationships with the people in their network and develop the skills needed to capitalize on these relationships, I selected the following services to add to my business:

High-quality Affiliate Programs that provide immediate income and add value to my clients and associates. I focus on marketing tools and systems that can help my clients and associates take their business to the next level. In addition to providing me with an additional profit center, I have the satisfaction of knowing that I am helping others achieve their goals.

Network Marketing Program I'm involved with an international company that provides a service that helps you recognize, uplift and thank the people in your sphere of influence and add an additional stream of income to your business. A word of caution, find one program that is a natural fit for your business and focus on it exclusively. One exception would be a health care practitioner who provides a number of nutritional products to their client base.

Because I focus on services that are a natural fit for my business and add value to my clients and associates, they take very little to implement and add income to my bottom line. The affiliate programs provide some short term profit, while the network marketing program provides a recurring income stream that I can retire on.

Question: What can you add to you're marketing mix that, takes little time, adds value and can increase your bottom line?

Quote: "We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give." - Winston Churchill

I hope you found these suggestions helpful, with uncertainty in today's economy, I felt it was important to share these ideas with you. I welcome your comments, ideas and suggestions.

If you would to add an additional profit center to your business, or brainstorm ideas for taking your business and personal relationships to the next level, I would be happy to help. Feel free to contact me.

What do you do daily to build your self-esteem and the self-esteem of your customers and associates?

If you would like to see your business skyrocket, uplift, recognize or appreciate 3 to 5 people a day. You will be amazed at the good things that begin to happen in personal and business life. Another suggestion, keep a gratitude and appreciation book and as you go through your day write down things and people that have added value to your day. Then send those people a note of appreciation.

Make a list of all the things that you accomplish each day and review it often, even the little ones. Keep track of the accomplishments of your customers and associates and send them a note of congratulations and recognition. The greatest need that we have is to be valued and appreciated, start today to let your customers and associates know that you value and appreciate them.

When you feel down, or you face a challenge, review your appreciaton book to remind yourself of all of the blessings that you have received.

Note: I use my daytmer to as my appreciation log, so it with at all tmes.

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. Ponder what miracles could happen if the spirit of giving that Christmas represents was a part of our daily plan of action. If we focused on how we could help the people we come into contact with every day, rather than what we are going to get.

It's a universal law: You have to give before you get. If you want success, help others become successful.

A great way to start the gyving habit is to help others by uplifting and supporting their dreams. Invest a month focusing on what you can give and not on what's in it for you and see how it impacts your business and personal life.

One of the greatest gifts that we can give is recognition, to make time every day to recognize and appreciate those people we treasure; To thank at least one friend, customer, and associates for the contribution that they make to our lives.

Question: How often do you actually recognize the important people in your life? Do you thank a new client for their business, what about your long-term clients?

Quote: "We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give." - Winston Churchill

"When someone comes along who genuinely thanks us, we will follow that person a very long way." - Alan Loy McGinnis

"Truly appreciate those around you, and you'll soon find many others around you. Truly appreciate life, and you'll find that you have more of it." - Ralph Marston

According to William James: "The deepest principle in human nature is the craving to be appreciated." Human relation psychology teaches that we all have the need to feel appreciated and valued. During this time of year, let us not forget that the most important gift we can give others cannot be purchased, it comes from the heart. It's time, time spent in helping others feel good about themselves. During this season of giving, take the time to recognize and appreciate one friend, one client, one prospect and one associate. The beauty of this gift is that the giver get's as much, if not more benefit, than the receiver. We all feel good when we make someone feel good.

Question: How does it feel when someone expresses appreciation for you and what you do? How about when you take the time to help someone feel better about themselves? Which feels better?

Quote: “Blessed are they who have the gift of making friends, for it is one of God's best gifts. It involves many things, but above all, the power of going out of one's self, and appreciating whatever is noble and loving in another.” - Thomas Hughes

“Next to possessing genius one's self is the power of appreciating it in others” - Mark Twain

"Feeling appreciated is one of the most important needs that people have. When you share with someone your appreciation and gratitude, they will not forget you. Appreciation will return to you many times." Steve Brunkhorst

"Before someone's tomorrow has been taken away, cherish those you love, appreciate them today." - Michelle C. Ustaszeski

In order to succeed at anything, you must believe that you can and will reach your goal. I am reminded that success comes in cans. According to Napoleon Hill: "What the mind of man can conceive and believe, he will achieve."

The minute you truly believe is the moment that your dreams become real. If you think you can, you can.

Question: Stuart Chase said: "For those who believe, no proof is necessary. For those who don't believe, no proof is possible." Do you truly believe in the magic of your dreams, or do you need proof?

Quote: "Fear less, hope more; Eat less, chew more; Whine less, breathe more; Talk less, say more; Love more, and all good things will be yours" - Swedish Proverb

"Keep your dreams alive. Understand to achieve anything requires faith and belief in yourself, vision, hard work, determination, and dedication. Remember all things are possible for those who believe." -  Gail Devers

"I can believe anything provided it is incredible." - Oscar Wilde

"Believe and act as if it were impossible to fail." - Charles F. Kettering
