Couldn't help it! Had to share this!! We locked the doors to keep the dogs out of the main area because we were afraid this might happen. And it worked!! I woke up this morning to the screaming (of DELIGHT, I might add) of the 3 youngest of our grandchildren as they scurried around finding eggs and baskets scattered about. Thank goodness all Easter treasures were hidden inside the house and not outside, as the first streaks of daylight this morning gave sightings of the blanket of that white stuff (called snow) which we most likely have not seen the (14 comments)
Via Mary Douglas, REALTOR ®, Red Feather Lakes, Colorado (United Country Ponderosa Realty): One of the number 1 New Year Resolutions, next to losing weight, is getting fit. Walking is great way to do this. Lisa VonBargen, my friend in Estes Park, has a great post today about a wonderful place to take a walk in Colorado. Yesterday, one of my friends sent me an email about the Importance of Walking, filled (3 comments)
Believing 2010 will be a great year for Active Rain! I, for one, have learned so much and have so much more that I know I will learn this next year. Thank you to all Rainers for your support, direction, and the friendships this year. One can only imagine what next year will bring! Cheers!
Remember when you believed all you had to do was ask? For those of us in sales, could that be something we often forget? Ask for a referral? Ask for the appointment? Ask for the business? Believe in... YOURSELF! Are you wishing for a prosperous New Year in 2010? Or believing it? Something to think about! (23 comments)

Be safe, have fun, and don't forget to tell those you care about that you love them. (9 comments)
holidays: Can a house have too many Christmas trees? - 11/22/09 11:08 AM
Have you gone to Christmas parties that have "designer trees" in each room??? Do you envy them or does it turn you off? I, for one, want just one tree that is very well "put together". So you know what I do? I actually bought it when we moved into our home about 10 years ago... how could I resist? It won first place but that's not why. It was named "To Grandmothers house we go!". That did it. I bid on it (good cause for charity!) and it's been my main tree since then. We never "undecorate it". I had (5 comments)
holidays: Holiday Homes for Sale Tour - 11/04/09 08:13 PM
Have any of you put together a Holiday Homes for Sale Tour? I'm looking for any input, ideas or examples that you have heard about or done in the past to give sellers a reason to list NOW. Afterall, when does their home look better, smell better, and show better than over the holidays? And let's face it, if you have a buyer over the holidays, they are serious! We all have a tendency to tell ourselves that things practically stop over the holidays. Maybe that's just what we tell ourselves?? Maybe we need to create some excitement and a call (3 comments)
