Ka Malanai - NEW condominium complex in Kailua - 04/30/12 10:27 AM
I wanted to share with you Ka Malanai. This is a NEW condominium complex that is in the process of being built in Kailua. It has just broke ground about a month ago. I've known about this news of a new condominium complex building for several years now. I have a laundry list of buyers who would like the opportunity to purchase these units. Why is it in such a large demand? Well Kailua is a small town that has hardly any vacant land available to build beyond a house or two here and there, no less a NEW condominium complex

Kailua Beachside is the most desirable area to live in Kailua......Over 3 miles of white sandy beach with views of the famous Mokulua Islands, and Flat Island. There is an abundance of outdoor activities that both locals and tourists enjoy here. Some include kayaking, swimming, parasailing, body boarding, surfing, sailing, biking, volleyball, having bbq's with family and friends, and of course sun tanning. There are public beach accesses to some of the private residential areas, however parking is limited to the local residents who live there and then there are several public parks where you can easily find parking as well.

Kailua is a small beach town on Oahu with approximately 50,000 residents living there. The average single family home lot is probably in the neighborhood of 6000-7000 square feet with interiors on average about 1500 sf. Kailua's Olomana Community is located right off the Pali highway running into Kailua town. So its location is convenient if you work in Honolulu. Olomana sits right below the Koolau Mountains which most homes in that area are exposed to that fabulous view. Most homes in Olomana have larger lots in the 7000-8000 square foot lots, with interiors averaging from 1400-2400 square feet interiors.
