This community is a tropical nirvana wedged between the incredible cathedral spires of the Ko'olau mountains and the turquoise opalescence of Kaneohe Bay. Kailua Beachside is the most desirable area to live in Kailua......Over 3 miles of white sandy beach with views of the famous Mokulua Islands, and Flat Island. There is an abundance of outdoor activities that both locals and tourists enjoy here. Some include kayaking, swimming, parasailing, body boarding, surfing, sailing, biking, volleyball, having bbq's with family and friends, and of course sun tanning. There are public beach accesses to some of the private residential areas, however parking is limited to the local residents who live there and then there are several public parks where you can easily find parking as well.

Did you know that current statistics can sometimes give you a pretty clear picture of what’s going to happen next? In fact, sometimes it’s just simple math. 
What jumped out at me this month was the very strong increase in pending sales—those sales that are in escrow but not yet closed. For single family homes pending sales are up 28.5% in April 2012 over April 2011. Kailua Town area has a group of condo's and townhomes that is centrally located to shopping, restaurants and Kailua Beach. A great convenient way to live. No upkeep of the yard and you can come and go as you please. The variety of condos and townhomes in this area vary in amenities and price ranges.

Kailua is located 12 miles northeast of Honolulu-over Nu'uanu Pali, the tallest mountain peak in the Ko'olau mountain range.
