A good insight on current mortgage rate trends. We may never see these rates again for a long time! - 01/14/11 07:00 PM
Mortgage rates are inching up and the higher the rate is, the lower loan amount you can qualify for. When rates were at 4.125%, a borrower could qualify to buy a home for $600,000. The same borrower today would be able to buy a home today for $550,000. Here is a great video explaining how the mortgage rates can hinder your buying power.
