If you have been working with your buyers with a pre-approval letter ready to make an offer on the next house they fall in love with....STOP! Have you notice lately that rates are slowing increasing from last week? If your buyers were pre-approved at the highest loan amount, they may be in for a surprise. If they go into contract with that pre-approval letter signed a few weeks ago, the lender will have to approve them at the current rate when the contract is given to the lender or your buyers will have to buy down the loan amount in order (2 comments)
