Will you help me by supporting me in AFRICA - MEDICAL MISSION TRIP

Dear Friends and Fellow Colleagues, 

I hope this letter finds you well.

This isn't a letter about Real Estate, it's about LOVE AND SERVICE to Africa!!

My family has some very exciting news we would like to share with you. We have the opportunity to be a part of a “Medical Mission Trip” to West Africa with Lighthouse Medical Missions. This is a substantial, yet practical way that our family can help bring welcome relief and medical aid to desperate people.  

I am asking for help - I am calling on EVERYBODY I KNOW to invest in me so that I can invest in lives in Africa. 

<!--[endif]-->My daughter, Marina, is soon entering college. It has always been her passion to work in medicine. This will be a tremendous benefit to her and her future endeavors.  In addition to Marina’s hands-on medical experience, Matthew and I will be able to help in many other much needed aspects. The clinic will be set up in a local village and will serve hundreds of people while we are there.  Many hands are needed and we are willing and able to give of ourselves in this way at this time.

At the end of March, 2012 (YES!! THAT SOON!!) we will be joining the rest of the Lighthouse Medical team for a 10 day opportunity of a lifetime. The first day in Africa, we will set up an open air clinic and surgery center. We bring all the equipment and even the medications with us. During the next week, we will help doctors treat over 1000 patients with illnesses ranging from colds and parasites to serious conditions and surgeries. Villagers will walk many miles and wait for days to be seen at this FREE CLINIC.

The Lighthouse Medical Missions team has been making a difference in underdeveloped countries for well over 10 years. Everyone on the team pays their own way. We will have basic African accommodations and will be eating a lot of RICE!!! Although accommodations are basic, the cost of airfare is quite substantial. This is where we need your help. Would you please consider investing in our family to be your representatives on our mission? Can we be your hands touching lives and bringing much needed medical aid to the people of West Africa?
