myrtle beach realtor: No Longer General Brokerage - 06/11/09 02:36 PM
Murphy was a very smart man! Lately I have received several calls from Active Rainers inquiring about property here in Myrtle Beach. The problem that I have is that I am no longer selling as a general brokerage agent. My new position is in new homes sales with Dock Street Communities in the Market Common. If only I had received all these calls while I was in general brokerage, I may not have looked elsewhere to continure my real estate career. That being said, I really do love on-site sales and the Market Common is truly a great place to work.

Sadly, our new theme park,Hard Rock, has filed bankruptcy. It has only been open since April of this year. Several of you emailed me that you were going to attend this unique fun park located in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. I hope you were able to do so. We visited it a few weeks ago for the first time to see a concert by KC and the Sunshine Band. They were awesome. We also rode the Led Zepplin Roller Coaster - awesome. I screamed for the entire 2 minutes but it was all worth it. I hope some investor steps forward

myrtle beach realtor: I Need a New Plan to Qualify Internet Leads... - 07/18/08 11:20 AM
I finally got a 'hit' on my website. Wow, was I excited - it actually works. Anyway this lady's name was Rhonda and she was interested in purchasing real estate in the Myrtle Beach area. She also said that she would be visiting on July 14th - 21th. Immediately, I responded and put her on a 'drip campaign' that matched her criteria. She called on the 16th to say that her and her husband would like to look at property on Thursday from 2:30 for a few hours. This was looking more and more like a solid lead and a potential

myrtle beach realtor: You Want a Co-Broke and You Want Me to Be Your Buyer's Agent Too? - 06/20/08 02:55 PM
Here's a new one. I am working on site for a developer. A realtor came into our office with a customer who had indicated interest in purchasing a home in our community. Once the Customer decided to make an offer she said "Do you co-broke? I am a realtor." Of course I was surprised and the realtor escorting her was very surprised, needless to say. He was out and she was in. We walked over to our office and the other realtor just quietly left. We wrote the contract and she put down her deposit. Things did not work out and the

myrtle beach realtor: Why Come to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina? - 06/08/08 03:33 PM
I just got back from a week long vacation in Florida. It was through RCI and the place where we stayed was a Gold Crown Resort. It was nice but there really wasn't much to do except go to the ocean, the pool, or golf. The restaurant choices were scant even though the beach was lined with many, many high rise condos. My husband and I were a bit disappointed. As I entered Myrtle Beach it struck me about the many differences between these two vacation/second home destinations. Myrtle Beach has over 100 golf courses and over 1000 restaurants as well as

myrtle beach realtor: Pre-qualification Interview - 04/29/08 10:12 AM
We had a seminar via 'video' from Tom Hopkins, a recognized guru for successful sales techniques. It was very informative and I took away many new ideas which will help me be more effective in converting clients to buyers. One I wanted to share with you is the acronymn NEADS. It is very helpful in organizing your interview to determine if the potential clients are serious. myrtle beach realtor: An extension to an extension to an extension... - 04/24/08 03:00 PM
In March I wrote a blog expressing my frustration at the fourth extension that the buyer's agent had requested from my seller. The closing has yet to occur and the 7th extension has been written. The new extensiopn will expire on May 20th. Can you imagine? I think this may be a record among realtors. Should I contact Ripley's to see if it is a record world wide? Possibly. What is truly amazing is that it is a CASH deal!! Anyway, the saga continues. You may see another blog on this one if it doesn't close on the 20th. If anyone has any
