Delta, Colorado was voted small town USA in 1995 and still has that small town feel.  Delta County is very large and covers, Delta, Cedaredge, Eckert, Austin, Orchard City, Cory, Paonia, Hotchkiss, Lazear,  and Crawford. With such a large area you will find mountsins, streams, desert, farm ground and small towns.  A perfect place to live where the climate is always confortable.

Montrose, Colorada is a growing community.  Bringing in chain restaurants and big name entertainment but still that neighborly feel. 

Both counties offer a lot of recreation just a short drive away.  Powderhorn ski area, Telluride ski area, Crested Butte ski area, Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Mountains to hike and bike, and farm fresh food.
