The team topic seems to generate more than it's share of interest. Back in December, I wrote a blog post called To Team or not to Team?   I still get emails and comments on that post and my orginal post  How to create a winning team.  Bob Carney's post So When is it Time to start a Team.... created some good discussion on the team topic. The interest in Bob's post gave me this nudge to expand on the topic a little more.  And then just today there were several rainers asking for help about whether to form a team. Carnac is quite pleased.  He thought he was being forced into retirement.  Things had gotten down right boring around here.  I mean... how many blogs about flat people and parties can one person handle?  Yawn.   And then BAM, the proverbial poop hit the fan.  There were dirty diapers and everything!!  So much good stuff happened that it was hard to keep up.  Thanks guys!  Yep, Carnac is quite pleased.

Jeff Turner take note!  Actually you may want to Jott yourself about this one!   I just found the most amazing technology.  This will change the way you do business.  What an ubelievable product.  Find your kids, find your spouse, find your clients!  Isn't Technology Grand?? I went on a listing appointment today.  As we went through the kitchen, I noticed one of my calendars on the refrigerator. Mr. Seller had been receiving my "stuff" for 18 years - calendars, magnets, postcards, newsletters.  Mr. Seller was proud of the updates he had made to the house since I sold it to him 18 years ago.  He had me convinced.  When I went back to the office and went through the file from 1989, I realized I hadn't sold Mr. Seller the house after all.   In 1989, I added Mr. Seller as an "orphan" in my database.  The agent who had … (53 comments)

Gales Ferry resident Anne Marie Beers stopped by my office today to place an ad in my "I Love Ledyard" newspaper.  I was fascinated by her new business, Pooper Troopers, which was born about 4 months ago. As advertised, Pooper Troopers "takes away what your dog leaves behind".  Anne Marie was a good sport and even laughed when I expressed my concern about what a crappy job she had. I suspect she's heard it a million times and my comment didn't come off as very original. Besides being a fun person, I loved the fact that Anne Marie donates a portion of every … (41 comments)
