The interest in solar use for residential properties is increasing in our area. I see the signs for Standard Solar in front of many homes and see the teams working on the roof to install the PV panels. My husband and I are now exploring the possibility of installing solar panels on out new barn roof in Westminster MD.  With so many Federal, state and local tax credits the cost in greatly reduced and the payback is now estimated to be 8-10 years. I would love to hear from people who have already installed solar. If you have a moment to share your experience, I would love to hear it. Some of my clients are asking if they should consider installing solar if they plan on staying in their homes for the long term. I would love to have more information to share with them.
