La Verne Concerts in Heritage Park, Summer 2012

Okay, so it's that time of year again!  Time for swimming, walking the dogs at night in the cooler temperatures and time for those amazing concerts in the park.  In the City of La Verne, those concerts are held at Heritage Park in northern La Verne.

This year, the concerts will begin on Sunday, June 24 at 6:30PM.  The very first band featured will be Doc Rock-It and the will also be a classic car show for all the vintage car fans here in the City of La Verne.  The 2012 Summer Concert Series will finish up on September 2nd with (yep folks, they are back!) The Answer!  Seriously, I think those guys are one of the best classic rock cover bands around, and we missed them a lot last year.

One of the things La Verne is including this year are vendors serving food and drinks.  Popcorn King will feature not only popcorn, but hot dogs, drinks and shaved ice as well.  Red Devil Pizza wil be selling pizza by th slice or whole - they have great pizza and are located here in La Verne as well.  Sam's Deli will be providing pretzels, cotton candy and everyone's favorite, funnel cakes.
