Some of our own local talent here in Altadena will be performing this Saturday night at 7pm at Farnsworth Park. Mike Manning is a 44 year old guitarist who went to St. Elizabeth Parish School in Altadena and La Salle High School in Pasadena. He was in the military and was in Rock-N-Roll bands. He is now the director of the 8:30 Folk Mass Choir at St. Elizabeth Church. Sean Manning is the younger brother. He's a tenor in the 10:00am Mass Choir at St. Elizabeth Church. The sounds of jazz filled the air this past Saturday night in Altadena with the Elliot Caine Quintet. Just in case you missed the opening of the Summer Concert Series at Farnsworth Park in Altadena, CA you can come on out this coming Saturday night, June 21st for the Juneteenth Celebration. There will be blues, jazz, gospel and zydeco music from 12:00 noon to 7:00pm.
