Starting Wednesday, July 1st the state of Tennessee has a new state law that prohibits the using text messaging while driving.  This includes texting while at a stop light or traffic light.  People found guilty of texting while driving will be subject to a $50 fine and it will be considered a non-moving traffic violation and point will not be added to violator license.

Great points made.
So...if you're gonna bid at the Courthouse, make sure you have read the notice.
Most say "Cash" or Certified Funds" at sale.  That means before you leave the Courthouse steps.  Others say 24 or 48 hours.  You can deliver the funds within the alloted time.  So read the notice carefully.

Relay for Life - 06/04/09 11:14 PM
Last Friday night was our first experience at the Relay event at Beech Lake in Lexington, TN.
The community support was amazing as thousands showed up. 
Lots of good food and entertainment.
We were a rookie team.  Not knowing what to expect. 
Our learnings from the event:
1.  Lots of work.  Recruit more team members next year. 
2.  If you are serving food, get there earlier and plan to serve the dinner crowd.  At around 10:00 most call it a night.
3.  Develop a list of things to sell and raise more money during the event.
