Congratulations to the winner of the CASA Playhouse. It was a cutie. Thanks to Lexington High School class for the construction and to the local businesses who donated the supplies to build. We look forward to the classes creative design for the 2014 CASA Playhouse. Thanks to all who made donations.

The American Girl show was a huge success. With all proceeds going to benefit CASA of Henderson County, the Board of Directors would like to say "Thank YOU" to all who donated their time and effort to make the show possible. Look forward to doing it again in 2014.

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Henderson County served approximately 91 children in 2010. These are children who end up in the court system as an abused or neglected child. The court must decide the fate of the child. Each child is assigned a CASA. This advocate works with the system to ensure the safety of the child. This advocate files a report to the Court with recommendations. This advocate is a volunteer. … (0 comments)
