Showings are Heating Up - 04/03/11 10:40 AM
We are seeing this trend innerloop Houston, Texas.  It is a result of the tightened inventory in certain neighborhoods, Timbergrove, Houston heights, Montrose and the Hyde Park, just to name a few that I have intimate knowledge of.
Representing primarily buyers I am watching and notifying my clients as things hit the market.

Boy no truer words have been said.  Some of these agents make us all look bad the buyers think we are steering them away from the listing as they do not know the difficulty.  I know we all want a day off but make arrangements to automate these showings and information flow concerning your listing.
It is such an easy thing to engage a showing service (if available) or post confidential remarks to allow us to include your things while we are working.

this is a great book, I only wish it had been around when I first decided to go into this highly rewarding second career.
These new agents and some of the older ones need some guidance in this new historic market.

Consumers Agree - It's A Good Time to Buy Real Estate - 04/03/11 10:29 AM
this is really a super blog post.
have whole heartedly agree this is the best time in my 58 years to buy real estate. I have noticed that in certain areas of Houston we have no inventory, it is serving to pring the prices back.
