Enjoy the tour of Snead Island in Palmetto Florida, even though it is a small island it has a lot to offer. The Bradenton Yacht Club is a great place to store your boat and enjoy the company of other boaters. It is a private club so you will have to go through the application process before you can enjoy this club. The homes on the island are wonderful, I have added them to the tour because they are just so cool. They remind me of Key West and all Florida has to offer. Highland Shores in Palmetto Florida is an older community on the east side of Palmetto located on US Hwy 301. Yards are large, some homes are on the canals, some homes have pools. This is a good neighborhood to check out if you are looking for the handyman special. Residents are known to have owned their homes for many years before selling and some need updating. For those who don't want to mess with the updating, there are homes that have already gone through the process and are up to date.

Waterfront living, executive homes, luxury homes, this is what describes Rivieria Dunes. Sitting right on the Manatee River, Rivieria Dunes contains one of the last protected harbors to be built. The selection of homes are single family homes, condos and town homes, either choice displays the best of everything. Granite countertops, private elevators, spectacular views, it just doesn't get any better than this. Boat slips are available for sale within the community, however take note that only motor boats will probably work. What a great place to go to relax. It is one of my favorite places to be, anytime by the water is relaxing and it always reminds me why I moved to Florida. The Riverside Café is a great place to eat, I have been going there for years. I always sit outside so I can enjoy the water view and the sounds of the marina.
