Cary, Raleigh, & Durham Ranked Smartest Cities - 11/21/11 04:21 PM
According to a new ranking from American City Business Journals, Cary is the smartest city in North Carolina and the seventh smartest community in the country. The study was conducted by ACBJ using U.S. Census data and a five-part formula to rate the brainpower of 269 communities across America. In North Carolina, Raleigh came in at number two and Durham followed at number 24.

The "climate" for North Carolina is growing! Moving up from the #6 spot in 2010, North Carolina was ranked number 3 in Site Selection magazine's 2011 Top Business Climate. Taking the number 1 spot was Texas, followed by Georgia at number 2. The annual ranking by Site Selection magazine is based in part on a survey of corporate real estate executives.

RE/MAX Carolinas hosted their 2011 sales rally at the Embassy Suites in Cary, NC. The sales rally kicked off on Tuesday, Nov. 1 with guest motivational speakers Craig Zablocki and Tom Ferry. Discussions included updates on social media, lead generation, and the latest research information about what clients are expecting from their real estate agent. A cocktail and social hour was hosted afterwards where many agents took advantage of having their photo taken with the famous RE/MAX balloon and with the recent J.D. Power and Associates award for “Highest Overall Satisfaction For Home Sellers and Home Buyers Among National Full Service Real Estate Firms”.
