While growing up in Cupertino and playing in the orchards and creeks, it sometimes seemed as if I were living in a magical place. Now this fabulous town has become an affluent, sought-after community. Located an hour south of San Francisco and an hour north of Santa Cruz, this city now boasts award-winning shools, parks, a golf course, fabulous restaurants, a library, community center, businesses, a farmer's market, shops, all with easy access. San Jose Tree Policies - 07/28/08 01:07 PM

So not only do homeowners have to pay for damages done by trees the city planted in front of their properties, but now we will have to pay for all maintenance involved with these trees. Trees are great, don't get me wrong, we need them(!), but if we're expected to pay for all costs involved, shouldn't we have some say in the matter?
