Saving Homes, Birds, What Next? - 01/29/10 08:00 PM
Today on my door knocking rounds, I came upon an awful sight. A poor robin had beenshot through the head with what turns out to have been a blow dart. The crows werecircling the poor thing, and without thinking, I scooped him up and took the dart outof it's head. I wound up taking him to the Wildlife Center of Silicon Valley. A reportwill be made, and because it is a migratory bird, the Dept. of Fish and Game will also get involved along with the police.
