beach: Wordless Wednesday (Again) What Other Beachy Critters Can Be Attached to the Human Body? - 04/29/10 12:46 AM
Yep. I'm trying to squeeze in another photo post before the servers go down again. I only found out about an hour ago that the work wasn't completed, and the servers would be down from 11-3 all week. I'm just glad I'm on the East Coast or this night would have been a total waste! So, here's part 2 of my cousin-in-law, and his fun things to play with on Jacksonville Beach. Just make sure you check out the post before this one! It's shocking, to say the least! O_O BTW, he said this starfish would crawl all over him. Call

beach: Why Should You Buy Real Estate in New Smyrna Beach? - 12/08/08 12:57 AM
If you're one of my regular blog readers, you know that many times, when providing you with information about a particular city in which you might like to buy real estate, rather than present you with just facts and figures, or straight real estate data about that city (although I sometimes do that too, since some of you like those posts as well) I often like to present you with fun things to do in that area. That's what this post will be; for the city of New Smyrna Beach. If you currently live in New Smyrna Beach FL and are

Coming up next week, July 21-25, 2008, children in grades 4 through 6, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. can enjoy the Marine Explorer Camp at the Ponce Inlet Marine Science Center. This is going to be a fun-filled week of snorkeling, fishing, kayaking, boating and more. I'm not sure if there are any last minute spaces available, so don't hesitate if you're planning to register your children, grades 4-6, in next week's Marine Explorer Camp. Not only will this be fun, but the children will be learning about Volusia County’s wildlife, habitats, and the importance of preserving our natural

Just last week a posted a blog about the Daytona Beach condo-conversion project I have listed, with 42 units for sale or rent in this completely remodeled building. In that post titled Buy or Lease a Daytona Beach Condo, I said we only had 5 units left, and they were all 1 bedrooms. However, due to an eviction, we now have ONE, 2 bedroom unit available! That apartment is now cleaned up and ready to be re-rented. If you're interested in a 2 bedroom apartment for rent, in the heart of Daytona Beach, just blocks from the ocean, call or e-mail

beach: Memories of Ponce Inlet Florida-The Grand Old Lighthouse - 09/02/07 09:05 PM
As I've stated in previous posts, I'm a native of the Daytona Beach area, and am knowledgeable about many fascinating historical facts. But I still enjoy researching and sharing the new things I learn. In a recent post, I was sharing some childhood memories of the time my family spent in Tomoka State Park, in Ormond Beach. As I let my mind wander to other pleasant memories of my childhood, I found fond memories of the lighthouse and park at Ponce Inlet. The best part about these memories are not just of my own childhood, but from a parental perspective as
