A few days ago I posted information about the community of Countryside in Port Orange. This post is about the gated community called The Hunt Club. An important thing to know about Port Orange, is that most of the communities have Home Owner's Associations (HOA's), with governing codes and rules that actually supersede some of the city's codes and rules. When buying a house in a deed-restricted community with a strong HOA, it's important for buyers to do their own research about the Conditions, Covenants and Restrictions (CC&R's) of each particular community.

Countryside Community in Port Orange Florida is a great place to buy a home. And I should know... I live there! Over 11 years ago, when our family was looking to buy a home, we knew we wanted to live in Port Orange. I'm a native of the Daytona Beach area, and have worked and played in every nook and cranny of Volusia county. Our family found the city of Port Orange to have the best combination of qualities we wanted. Good news for Port Orange residents... and residents of the Countryside Community. As many of you know, I'm a lifetime resident of Daytona Beach, and I've lived in The Hunt Club in Countryside for the last 10 years. My husband has been on the Board of our Home Owner's Association (HOA) for the last few years... I've lost count of exactly how many. Don't tell him I'm giving him too much praise.
