This weekend seems to be the weekend for Christmas Parades in East Volusia County. I already blogged about the Port Orange Christmas Parade which will take place on Sunday. Since then I've discovered that on Saturday, both New Smyrna Beach, and Holly Hill will be holding their annual Christmas Parades.
New Smyrna Beach: This year's Christmas Parade AND Boat Parade! The Christmas Parade is from 4:00 p.m. til 6:00 p.m. It will begin on Flagler Ave and end on Canal Street. Just a reminder. The Volusia County Fair is almost over. Only 2 more days... don't miss out! This is the last weekend for the year. And there are some great concerts lined up, as well as hundreds of adorable animals, and the most awesome rides a fair can have! Trust me about the rides. They rawk! LOL

I love sunsets. As I was reading a blog here on Active Rain, by Eileen Begley, featuring sunsets in her home town, I got the idea to write a blog featuring sunsets in the area where I live and sell real estate. For all you real estate tech geeks, you might like this. But then, you probably already know about the Sony Mylo®. From what I can see, it looks like the perfect text messaging gadget. Most of you know that I create full video tours for my real estate listings if at all possible, and have been doing so for about two years now. I've never been a fan of virtual tours because of the distortion factor, and could never understand why REALTORS® weren't just video taping their listings. Two years ago, the only place to host the videos was on You Tube (hardly the most professional platform). But now, we have a plethora of choices of professional real estate video hosting sites.

If you're looking to buy a house in the Daytona Beach area, but aren't happy with all the Home Owner's Associations (HOA's) and restrictions, then Edgewater is the place for you. Most houses in Edgewater are on large lots with plenty of room for your boat, RV, or whatever you'd like to do.
This house at 2110 Sabal Palm Drive in Edgewater is immaculate and priced to sell! If you're not familiar with Edgewater, it's just south of the Daytona Beach area (just past New Smyrna Beach).
