seo: Have You Seen the New Look of Localism? - 07/23/10 06:06 AM
Have you seen the new Localism layout? I LOVE it! In my last blog post, which was a Localism post that primarily focused on the city of Port Orange, FL, I decided to add a link to my own Localism blog posts. So I clicked the "States" button as I usually do, and.... SURPRISE! Localism has a whole new look! And it's so professional!
Take a look for yourself. Click on the "States" button on the bar above. (If you have a black bar and didn't change your text to a lighter color, you can't see the buttons.)  Running down the … (8 comments)

seo: Continuation of Blogging, Commenting, Link-Backs, Photos and SEO. A Beginner's Guide - 09/05/08 12:25 PM

A few days ago I wrote a blog post to explain the basics of technology and search engine placement, and how we help each other when we post blogs with links to each other in them. I also addressed the importance of photos, and gave a very basic explanation of SEO (Search Engine Optimization). The general idea is that we all need to help each other.
This post is to address the one thing I left out of the last post. It was in the title, but I didn't really address it in the post. The part I left out is … (3 comments)

seo: Blogging, Commenting, Link-Backs, Photos and SEO. A Beginner's Guide - 09/01/08 12:26 PM

Yesterday, I wrote a post that featured bloggers from around the country, who had written extraordinary blog posts for the Things to Do/Places to Visit Group, here on Active Rain. (Thanks for the gold star) Today I wanted to take the opportunity to point out something that most of you probably didn't realize when you read and commented on that blog post, and explain how and why I did it.
With each person that was featured in that post, I inserted their name, their profession, their place of business, and the area they served. I then highlighted all that information … (15 comments)

seo: Daytona Beach and Volusia County, Commercial Real Estate Changes - 07/20/08 10:52 PM

If you're a commercial real estate owner in the Daytona Beach area, with real estate to sell, you may or may not be aware of the fact that up until now, the decline in the national real estate market has been primariy limited to the residential market; at least, that's been the case in Volusia county. But as of this year, mostly due to the lack of buyer's ability to get real estate financing, the commercial real estate market is now in decline as well. And with this impact on the commercial market, I believe we're going to see some … (9 comments)

seo: You found my blog online. And now I have the opportunity to pay YOU for leads? - 07/19/08 02:07 AM

Well, the title pretty much says it all. Earlier this week, I posted to my blog, information about buying real estate in golf communities in Daytona Beach. I plan to post several more, about buying or selling real estate in golf communities in Port Orange, Ponce Inlet, and possibly New Smyrna Beach too. But that's all beside the point for this post.
The very next day after I posted the blog about the Daytona Beach golf comunities, I got a call from a lady who works with a company that targets real estate buyers who are specifically looking to buy … (22 comments)

seo: Congratulations to Me. 200,000 points and counting! - 06/09/08 10:58 PM
This is a silly, lighthearted post. My comments today just pushed my points beyond 200,000. And my last post was my 400th. So here are my official stats...

BTW, I found this cool, freeware tool for screen captures like this. Follow the link to get yours. This is one of the most simplistic pieces of software I've ever seen, but it's not like I needed something fancy for a screen shot.

One thing I'd like to point out about my stats. I have way more comments than I do posts. It's a way of paying it forward. We should … (19 comments)
