During the Lansing High School Football season i am sponsoring a program called "LIONS FIRST DOWN". We are choosing one child 4th or 5th grade that is currently enrolled in the Lansing School District in Lansing, Kansas. The students parents need to join the event "LIONS FIRST DOWN" on facebook to register. We will be announcing the winner on facebook September 23rd. The winner will get a "LIONS FIRST DOWN" T-shirt hopefully signed by all of the football players and admission to the game for the student and family. This is my Raccoon Story
One night laying in bed on a peaceful fall evening - my wife and I heard a noise that I will never ever be able to describe. To the best of my ability I would have to say it was a mix sound between a dog and a cat killing each other. The sound was so loud I could not believe my neighbors were not up. I am not totally positive on this stat but I had heard that the Lansing pitcher (Brittney Lang) had 40 strikeouts in this 23 inning performance. I have not heard about the Basehor pitcher. The above picture was taken at tonights game for the Regional Championships. Lansing won by defeating Bonner Springs 8-5 and Topeka West in the Finals 5-0. Brittney Lang started pitching in the 3rd inning against Bonner and threw a No No for 5 innings and threw the entire game in the finals for a No No. She is incredible! Good Luck @ State Lansing!
