The New Jersey Department of Education released the 2007 School Report Card earlier this week.  The report contains detailed statistical profiles of all public schools in the state in the areas of school environment, student information, student performance indicators, staff information, and district/charter financial information.

In Montgomery NJ the following real estate activity was reported this week.  After a fast paced week, new listings are down by 50%.  Price reductions are down by 2 and, surprisingly, there were no solds this week.
Currently Montgomery NJ has 106 active residential listings.  There are currently 111 active listings in Montgomery NJ.  These active listings range from a $250,000 Bungalow style home with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath to a $1,650,000 custom built home with 5 bedrooms and 3.5 baths.

and I know my market reports have been boring, boring, boring, but I've been BUSY, BUSY, BUSY !!  Not much time at all to visit with my friends and peers on Active Rain, and believe me, I have acutely suffered withdrawal pains! 
Maybe the Laws of Attraction, known these days as "The Secret" is actually at work.  I don't know, don't particularly care if that's the reason, but all I know is that I've been swamped since the beginning of January and I'm thrilled.

New listings are down 1 from last week and down 5 from the first week of January.   The big news is the large number of price reductions, an increase of 8 from last week, showing that there are a number of motivated sellers out there in Hillsborough NJ.
