My husband and I, along with my son and daughter, just got back from High Point, NC this evening.  We spent the last two days enrolling my middle son into High Point University for the upcoming fall semester.
My husband and I had split up the college tour duties that have been all-encompassing over the last two summers and this was my first chance to view the university that my son has chosen over his other acceptances as the one he wants to call "home" for the next four years.

New listings continue to surge ahead, keeping pace with last week.  Price changes have dropped back 50% while listings under contract have doubled from 4 to 8 this week.

Hillsborough Real Estate Market Update
A somewhat quieter week in Hillsborough real estate.  New listings have scaled back a bit since last week with 6 fewer new listings coming on.  Price reductions have dramatically increased 150% from 2 weeks ago as sellers relent to bringing list prices in line with market price pressures.
There are currently 268 active listings in Hillsborough, ranging from a $140,000 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo, to a $1,500,000 custom built home with a private fishing pond.
