North Logan is part of Cache County, Its located at the mouth of Green Canyon. North Logan originally was called Greenville because of the trees planting along the roadside. However, it was found that another town in Utah was called Greenville so they changed the name to North Logan. One of the major problems settlers had in the beginning was the lack of culinary water. The first settlers to River Heights were the families of Anders Anderson, Mathias Lundberg, Hyrum Merrill, Christian Hansen, Knut Hansen, Peter Croft, Moroni Gudmundson, Alma Cummings, and the Croftmans in 1887.
