The Dallas Mavericks bring home a win last night beating the Toronto Raptors.  It was an exciting game, and our team logs its first win of the season.  Now I am not going to take credit for the win just because I attended the game, but I like to think that I helped!

Update on a tax deal – maybe.
It appears the Politicos have agreed on a short-term fix (yes, another Band-Aid) on the pending demise of tax cuts and more (click here to read the story).  The back and forth posturing and debates in Washington reminded me of a quote by John Mason Brown:

Make sure you are sitting down, as I am going to tell you that Washington did something right…Congress has spared the incandescent bulb (although it may be only a short reprieve).  As reported on Bloomberg.com:
 
Congress spared the 100-watt incandescent light bulb from a government-enforced phaseout in a win for Tea Party activists over manufacturers who said they are already switching to more energy-efficient products.

Dallas, TX has long provided a stable real estate environment.  We here in the Dallas area knew that we were not part of the glutted or over priced markets that the media proclaimed were nation wide.  The information reflected below shows a market that home buyers and investors can have confidence in.
Dallas Home Sales in November once again offered both an increase in prices for the under $185,000 market, but a slight dip in their median sales prices for homes priced higher:
