Finally, the snow has stopped falling for a few days - as you know, and that means we in DC can go back to work - finally!
When I went back to the office on Friday, I was so excited to see everyone that I hugged our manager, our office administrator, and our receptionist.  Between the joy of getting out of the house and seeing friends and colleagues, Friday was a great day.

One of the many joys of Westmoreland Hills in Bethesda Maryland is its great neighborhood park, tucked away in the back of the neighborhood.  Probably only a few people in Bethesda realize that there is a link to the Civil War in this wonderful neighborhood park with its playground, softball field, multi-use field and two tennis courts.

     In the cold dark days of winter, it is hard to come up with activities to keep an active toddler engaged and happy, but Bethesda theaters are making it easier for families now.  Both Bethesda's Imagination Stage and Glen Echo Park's the Puppet Company are presenting active shows, specifically geared for children from age 2 to 4.
