This is reblogged from a 3/16/10 post on my website, ListedByStephanie, but I figured ActiveRain would also be a good venue for sharing this blog post.

Waldo has been found, but do you know where I am this week? If you follow me on Twitter, you may have seen me tweet and use the hashtag "#seabbd." No, the "BBD" part does not stand for the group Bell Biv DeVoe - it stands for "Business By Design."

"Business By Design" is a 3-day event at the Washington State Convention Center in downtown Seattle March 15-17, 2010 for real estate agents and others in the industry (title reps, loan officers, and more). Anytime Tom Ferry comes to town, I attend his events. He is the ONLY real estate coach I listen to - he is realistic, down-to-earth, I can relate to him, and he is not cheesy like you might imagine a "real estate coach" to be.
Since 2006, I have seen real estate coach/life coach Tom Ferry whenever he's come to Seattle to speak, and I've flown down to Palm Desert for the Success Summit (his annual event) three times. I have been in his coaching program before, and I think very highly of Tom and his "Your Coach" organization.
I've enjoyed seeing Tom again, and it's been fun to meet Ian Watt and hear him speak to the group about vlogging (video blogging). He is the authority on vlogs - check out his website!
We also got to hear from Todd Duncan, a twice New York Times best seller, and the author of 14 books, including High Trust Selling. There will be more in store tomorrow, and it's incredible that all of this is F-R-E-E! Tom embraces the Google generation of giving to get. He provides fantastic ideas that help us get organized and shares ideas for helping us become better real estate agents for our clients.
I look forward to learning more tomorrow!
