Market Analysis for Snellville and Gwinnett - 07/12/08 08:45 PM
Snellville encompasses 2 MLS Marketing Areas: Area 65 which is Grayson/Snellville and Area 64 which is Snellville, Lawrenceville, Lilburn.  The good news:
In June, 36 homes sold in the 30078 zip code. This means that 27% of all homes sold in Area 64 resided in the 30078 zip. This is excellent considering that this area also has the 30044, 30047 zip and several others. What is more encouraging is the 206 pending contracts that the area has during the month of June.

Snellville July 4 Celebration Photos - 07/04/08 09:35 PM
Free food, family, live music, face painting, a car show...what a fourth of july event and it was all free thanks to First Baptist Snellville, First United Methodist of Snellville and Westminster Presbreterian.  One of the cooks told me that they had cooked 8,000 hamburgers as of 7:30 p.m.  The turnout was huge.  Fireworks concluded the evening.

The parde was a great success. Due to high gas prices, the fire department was not able to send the fire truck like they usually do. We improvised and had the neighborhood Harley owners and some of their friends help lead the parade. A majority of the neighborhood participated and their was a float decoration contest. At the end of the parde, everyone enjoyed bomb pops, cookies, water and juice boxes in the club house.

July 4 Parade: Kensington Subdivision in Snellville - 07/03/08 10:07 PM
Our annual July 4 parade will be held for the residents of the Kensington community. Each year, the neighborhood has a parade complete with a Gwinnett County Fire Truck. The kids decorate their wagons, bikes, tricycles or whatever else they can get their hands on to show their pride in the freedom that we have in this great country. It is days like this that we can remember how blessed we are to live in a country where freedom is guaranteed and all can come together as a community. Have a happy 4th.
