One of the things I love about Snellville, specifically the part that borders with Lawrenceville, is the convenience of mall shopping without the mall hassle at the Avenue.
When I moved to this area, we had very few places to dine that were not a ten or fifteen minute drive. Once plans for the Avenue were announced, a plethora of dining establishments began to open both in and around the Avenue. Some of my favorites:

Wildfire: First Class Service in Dining - 02/19/10 08:54 PM
My wife and I dined at Wildfire for Valentines Day. Wildfire is a chain restaurant with locations in various U.S. cities.
They specialize in seafood, steaks and chops. The menu ranges in price from around $10 for a sandwich to $32 for a 22 oz porterhouse steak. All meals, surprisingly, come with one side.  There are a wide variety of salads to choose from.
We ordered the calamari for an appetizer. It was best I had ever had. We almost wanted to order another order. They also served an onion bread loaf with the appetizer.
