colorado: Started 2010 with a perfect New Years Afternoon high altitude balloon flight in the Colorado Rockies - San Luis Valley - 01/03/10 02:57 PM
We decided to start 2010 out on a HIGH note. We rented a huge log cabin on VRBO website and were joined by some good friends from Colo. Springs and went snowshoeing, soaking in the hot springs, and finally the winds died down on New Year's Day and drove down to Villa Grove in the San Luis Valley and launched around 2:00 PM surrounded by 14,000 mountains. colorado: New Years Eve will be a FULL MOON this year - where will you be? - 12/17/09 12:39 AM
At 10:30pm on Dec 31st is a full moon! I'll be in a hot tub in Buena Vista, CO looking at the 14,000' peaks of the Collegiate Mountains. We are bringing the hot air balloons and the Golden Retrievers with us. We rented a great cabin through VRBO. Our friends and us hope to fly, ski and go into the back country with the snow dogs. Take advantage of the FULL MOON New Years Eve! Where will you be?
