Cool burnt orange car I saw today in Tomball, Texas. It was near the Nook Restaurant off of FM 2920.
This is a classic design that should stand the test of time. It has very sleek styling, and I like the wing as well. It is an eclipse. I'm sure I will see ones like it at the next car show in Vintage Park on the first Saturday of the month at 8am - 10am. Vintage Park is at 249 and Louetta. Hope to see you there. (0 comments)
Luling was pretty deserted yesterday, so I was able to get pictures without cars in front of the buildings. I like the contrast of the white and aggie maroon on this building, as well as the nice arches and pediments.
I guess this in reference to the Watermelon festival that is held in Luling every year.
Saturday I went to San Antonio and walked from a public parking spot to the Alamo and the River Walk, and saw this nice building.
This was taken in Lakewood Grove subdivision near Spring Cypress and State Highway 249. Cute ferris wheel and Snoopy on the dog house.
Lovely snowman, tree and gifts. I think this was in Heatherwood subdivision near Louetta and State Highway 249.
A small tasteful decoration in Lakewood Grove subdivision.
Cute Christmas trees off Gatesden in Tomball, Texas. Very colorful.
Adorable huskies pulling the sled with gifts in Lakewood Grove subdivision. (2 comments)

These beautiful baby horses are about 6 months old. Lady Bug is the grand daughter of another horse on the farm called Bonnet.
Here is a nice photo of the two horses. When I asked my Grand daughter how much they weigh, she said about 400 - 500 pounds. This picture is misleading, they are both the same height.
This one of Tic Tac is while she is running. I took a video of both horses running (1 comments)

tomball real estate: The Golden Gate Bridge Turns 75! - 05/26/12 07:34 AM
Happy 75th Birthday Golden Gate Bridge! I have enjoyed traveling to California and San Francisco and driving (and walking) across your suspension bridge numerous times. You have such a unique and recognizable color and appearance. I refer to you as "my bridge", but I bet a lot of other people do too. Your park is awesome as well, stretching well inland on the San Francisco side. Your light house at Point Reyes is very interesting and you even had a section of the Golden Gate National park with cows grazing on it. You have brought happiness to many people over the (2 comments)

Beautiful purple tulips were one of my favorites.
These orange and yellow tulips had fuzzy edges on their petals.
One of the many flower beds with a mix of flowers. These flowers almost remind me of a bunch of easter eggs.
There was on section of the gardens devoted to pansies.
These orange tulips have so many layers of petals they almost look like renuculas.

A Round of minuature golf, or putt-putt as we sometimes call it, is a welcome opportunity to have some fun in Austin. Peter Pan Mini Golf is on Barton Springs Drive.
Don't forget to have a great breakfast or lunch at an Einstein's Bagel's. Outstanding food and awesome service. The last time I was at this one (on Hwy 35) the manager made a specialty item for me and served it to me hot out of the oven. Yumm!!

Tom Petty & The HeartBreakers -- UT Austin -- May 5th, 2012 Last Saturday at this time I was driving to Austin to see Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. I worked part of the day and then met my husband at the house so we could take a trip to Austin to see Tom Petty. The concert was really good. Tom said this was the last leg of the US tour. He played some oldies from his first and second albums.
Here were some of the songs he sang in his over two hour live performance: · Listen to Her (2 comments)
