Every Memorial Day weekend my family plants geraniums at the cemetery. My Dad's been visiting the family plot in Shirley, Mass for over 70 years and I've been going along for years.
This weekend we went on Saturday after my appointments were over.  I love old cemeteries but we didn't linger since we were planting the geraniums in the rain.
That leaves the rest of the weekend to kick back. I've actually taken both Sunday and Monday off - hurrah!

I seem to be a magnet for unusual animal sightings in the city.
Last week I added another to my list when I was driving towards my office one morning and spotted this poor opussum.

 

He was perched atop a high chain link fence that runs along the railroad tracks in Porter Square on the Somerville-Cambridge line.  On the street side the sharp tops of the chain link wires stuck up next to the railing. It's a happy day for MLSpin users in Massachusetts. 
Actually I guess it's been a happy week since the change is about a week old.
But today was the first I heard about it when a colleague gleefully waved a "lead form" in front of me.
What could be so exciting about the Property Transfer  Notification Certification as it's officially and clumsily called?
Well it turns out the agent was able to download it from MLS.
Hallelujah!! It's about time.
We've been pushing for this for a while.  Finally, we can attach PDFs to our MLS listings.
