2011: The 3rd Annual Dobson Place Winterfest scheduled for Saturday, December 10, 2011 - 11/27/11 03:35 PM
It’s that time of year again!  The 3rd Annual Dobson Place Winterfest block party will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2011 from 5 to 10 PM on Kimberlee Way.  Neighborhood Girl Scout Brownie Troop 2042 will open the evening with a salute to the flag and some holiday carols.  Then listen for Santa’s bells as he makes his appearance.  As a new attraction this year, from 5 to 7PM, we will have a wonderful backdrop for the little ones to pose for photos with Santa.  Another addition this year for the youngsters will be a train ride around the closed … (2 comments)

The Residents of Kimberlee Way are hosting the 3rd Annual Dobson Place Winterfest on Saturday, December 10, 2011.  The events start shortly before 5PM, when Girl Scout Brown Troop 2042 opens with a flag ceremony and Holiday caroling. Photos with Santa begin at 5PM and pictures will be emailed to you on the spot! Also for the youngsters, there is a mini-train circling the area filled with tables, chairs and jumpers!

2011: 31 Day Challenge for January 2011 - Day 8 - Another mall shooting spree in Arizona? - 01/08/11 01:40 PM
Not sure if the Chandler, Arizona shooting spree earlier this week made the national headlines, but the incident today in Tuscon was the second one this week.  The big difference was that the Chandler incident had no fatalities while today's Tucson tragedy did.  Very sadly, a nine year old child was one of them.  Completely senseless.  I question why these mentally ill shooters don't just turn the gun on themselves before putting others' lives at jeopardy.  Is it so that we would actually view his You Tube videos and his My Space page?  Well, I refuse to.  Anyone who goes on … (2 comments)
