Job Loss Protection --- what a wonderful tool to assist in getting your listings sold. I understand that this has been around in the auto business for awhile and some builders have used it. However, very few real estate companies in the country have used it. There are several different types of Job Loss Protection Plans out there -- most of them backed by Virginia Surety. Today, I arrived in Charlotte, NC for REBar Camp which is tomorrow.
Tonight was networking at the Epicenter's After 5:00 ---
This Epicenter is just incredible --- I don't have words to describe it. There was a hugh crowd of people --- if it weren't for Twitter, the ReBar campers would not have found each other.
Kim Peasely-Parker from AgentOwned Realty's Sumter office came with me. We got to meet about 15 folks-- mostly Realtors --- it was terrific.
I am just so excited about tomorrow --- keep tuned.

A Little Information about Contracts In SC, in order for a contract to be enforceable, it must be in writing. Oral contracts are no good. Also, all changes on an offer has to be initialed and dated in order to be sure your contract is enforceable. It is amazing how many "contracts" don't have the proper initials and/or dates. Agents tend not to think this is important, but it is critical. A contract is not considered "ratified" until it has been delivered to all parties.
