Recession Works for a Few

 
The following was an editorial in today’s Charleston Post & Courier.  I thought it was great ---- being positive instead of the normal negative “stuff”.
 
“Hard times put most businesses in a fiscal bind.  But for cobblers, the ongoing recession provides welcome motivation for folks to get their footwear fixed rather than replaced.  At least there’s some upside to the 3.2 percent decline in retail sales of adult shoes in the 12 months that ended in November.
