I have hereto held back from posting any Political Posts.....but it dawned on me that by not expressing opinions "respectfully" we in turn abdicate our First Amendment right don't we? What is the point of having that right if people are afraid to express their point of view for fear of being ridiculed, condemned, ostracized or heaven forbid.........'judged'?   Seriously... is not that what makes America different from nations that disallow their people to tow anything but the party line?  The ONE party line?  We are blessed by having FREE CHOICE.

After reading ever so many Political Posts.....some fascinating, some polarizing, some hilarious.......and some downright...well.....Lets just say I  read Susan's post on the coming election.........and I was impressed..........For a few good lessons on communicating your Political Point of View...........should you choose to....check this out...! She's absolutely right - this election IS BIG - in more ways then we'll probably ever know!

  When I think of Thanksgiving... I think of Normal  Norman Rockwell and the perfect Family Dinner......We really have so much to be thankful for right?   The leaves are changing into beautiful golds, oranges and reds.....Smoke is starting to curl out of the chimney again...and there's that Autumn smell in the air...apple cider, pumpkins........mmmm.....

I loved these tips on getting your home 'ready for sale'... Our market is very competitive now - with a large inventory of homes for sale........The Buyers are out there - but now they can afford to be selective.  This is really when you want to put your best foot forward......
For a while there we didn't have to worry if the house was 'spic and span'.....or if the paint touch up were done.....and the yard manicured......Everything sold.......so we got sloppy as Realtors - and stopped sharing with our clients what they needed to make their home Shine!

Ever wonder how you can improve your conversation skills?  I know, I know, we're realtors....we should know how to do this.....right?  But maybe, you're shy and don't know what to talk about?  The best advice I can give you is - take the focus off of You and put it on the Other person....ask them questions....listen to their answers......pay attention.......and then, frankly, it won't matter whether you're shy or not!

Beautiful Bridal Falls is another one of those places I have driven by a dozen times a month, and yet its been 25 years since I last took the time to take the small hike and revel in their splendor.  Monday my daughter Sarah and I decided to take a mid-morning.  Now Sarah is a hiker extraordinaire.....and she said.......'mom its a gross exaggeration to say this is a hike!'..ummm yeah aha..
