Thankful Thursdays - I Wish You Enough - 07/16/09 02:28 PM
I friend shared this with me ~ and I was so moved by the concept of Wishing for Enough.  It goes against the grain in some ways.  In a world where we're told we can have everything - where 'anything' is bittersweet, this concept of 'Enough' really hit home...  "Recently I overheard a mother and daughter in their last moments together at the airport. They had announced the departure.
Standing near the security gate, they hugged and the mother said, 'I love you, and I wish you enough.'

Eagles in the City - Vancouver - 07/12/09 11:50 PM
On Thursday my daughter and I played Tourists in Vancouver!  Ever done that?  Explored all the cool places in our own home town - that you usually only see when you have out of town visitors?
Well we had a fabulous time visiting both old haunts and discovering new ones.....one of the new ones was the strange appearance of Eagles in the City!
