Halifax, Nova Scotia - Soaking up the Sea Air - 11/09/10 05:17 PM
Renowned for its steep streets, stunning harbour, and the famous Citadel, Halifax, Nova Scotia's capital has one of the world's largest natural harbours and an amazing Seaport Boardwalk.
Halifax is also famous for it's historic Titanic burial site, the final resting place of many of the passengers who lost their lives on the Titanic; Halifax played an important role in the Titanic disaster in helping with the rescue attempts and by taking in victim's families.
We spent half a day wandering the streets of this lovely historic seaport and the other half visiting the iconic Peggy's Cove.

The Château Frontenac, is one of a series of Chateau style hotels built for the Canadian Pacific Railway company at the end of the 19th and the start  of the 20th century. St. Andrews by the Sea - New Brunswick - 11/07/10 08:48 PM
Saint Andrews, New Brunswick  or St. Andrews By-the-Sea as it's more commonly called is a little seaside Town filled with charming colonial homes; (some of them barged to the area from Maine at the end of the Revolutionary War) many of them listed under the New Brunswick and Canadian Registry of Historic Places.
