empire state building: New York City's - Top of the Rock

What better place to watch the line up waiting to get to the top of the Empire State building! Closed for 20 years, the top of the Rockefeller center, re-opened in 2005, is now called Top of the Rock . The line ups are minimal, the view on its multi-level observation decks is unbelievable, the elevator ride is breath taking AND you get to see the Empire building head on! At the foot of the building is Rockefeller Centre - which in the winter is an iceskating rink - in the summer a terraced cafe....with the golden Prometheus standing guard! Legend … (10 comments)

They should have a perfume called Evening in New York - for you oldies - remember Evening in Paris? I've always wanted to track down a bottle of cobalt blue heaven in a bottle :) I arrrived in New York city around 8 pm....and then wandered around till about midnight - just pinching myself! Vibrant -bustling -and alive -the energy is palpable - it was sort of like walking on hallowed ground! lol
Oh the Empire State Building all green and aglow, the Chrysler Building, Macy's - my own Miracle on 34th Street....Grand Central Station AND those yellow cabs - REALLY! … (11 comments)
