san antonio: San Antonio - A RiverWalk Away - One Canadian's Trek across Texas - 01/26/09 12:00 AM
After visiting the Alamo.......still stuck in some sort of Reverie........we crossed the street and were enamoured by the neo-gothic architecture of the Emily Morgan Hotel in San Antonio built in 1929  - it truly is a gorgeous boutique type hotel......

San Antonio Courthouse and Post Office!

We then headed to San Antonio's famous shopping and dining district... "River Walk"...set amidst the winding banks of the San Antonio River. It was interesting to find out that the San Antonio Riverwalk is actually a city park! This was our first peek at eh the San Antonio!

san antonio: Texas Trecking......The Alamo - A Trip back into Texas History - 01/22/09 11:58 PM
After three days of training at Keller Williams in Austin, another Team Leader, Susie Pickering from Salt Lake City)  and I decided to rent a car and drive down to San Antonio on our day off between courses!  I'd always wanted to see the Alamo and meet Kristin and Sheila Moran so this was the perfect opportunity.
So Susie and I headed south on the I-35.............First Stop - The Alamo!
 

 We parked the car and walked a couple of blocks..........turning the corner ....and THERE IT WAS....the Alamo!  I could close my eyes and envision myself back in time.......I could here the voices … (41 comments)
