There goes that Carolyn Starr with here Eye Candy Contest Again!  How can anyone resist? Interesting concept.  Now  What consists of a Landmark?  Is it a historic structure, a monument, a testimony?  I decided to take a spin on the concept of "Landmark"  ...For those of you that know me - I was fortunate enough to experience some memorable "Landmarks" early this year........in the fabulous state of Texas.
What Defines a Landmark?

texas: Texas Trecking......The Alamo - A Trip back into Texas History - 01/22/09 11:58 PM
After three days of training at Keller Williams in Austin, another Team Leader, Susie Pickering from Salt Lake City)  and I decided to rent a car and drive down to San Antonio on our day off between courses!  I'd always wanted to see the Alamo and meet Kristin and Sheila Moran so this was the perfect opportunity.
So Susie and I headed south on the I-35.............First Stop - The Alamo!
 

 We parked the car and walked a couple of blocks..........turning the corner ....and THERE IT WAS....the Alamo!  I could close my eyes and envision myself back in time.......I could here the voices … (41 comments)

texas: Texas - Yippee Ya Yeah - Here I Come! - 01/04/09 01:17 PM
I just did one of those Lemonade MeMe's.......and while trying to decide who some of my favorite Bloggers were, I realized that more then half were from Texas!  Now what are the odds of that???? Not to mention that in one week I'll be in Texas.........Dallas and Austin!..Texas has always been on my list of 'things to do and places to go' ....it seems bigger then life, just like these people! ........So thanks to Amanda Hall - who will be organizing a dinner get together Saturday January the 10th.....for the Northern Texas Gang....
