wordless wednesday: Semi Wordless Wednesday- Spring bursting in bloom. - 06/15/11 08:51 AM
Some weeks in the Real Estate World Wednesdays can be a Realtor's  day to take some deep breaths and relax. Because many times I'm showing homes and working with my clients on the weekends when they're off of work, Wednesday can be a time for me to take a day off and have fun.

Wednesdays this spring were spent at a Photography class taken at Wake Community College.  This picture was taken with my NikonD80 using a zoom burst technique. It seemed to capture the essence of spring in bloom.

wordless wednesday: Semi Wordless Wednesday- Nighttime in Florence Italy - 04/27/11 05:51 PM
I just got back from a whirl wind tour of six days in Italy, And you know how if you spend a week away it takes you 2 weeks just to catch up?  So today I've spent most of the day catching up with my clients, but did get a chance to download my pictures.
Finding some favorite shots, and here's one, taken at night from the tower of the Hotel Torre Guelfe in Florence Italy, looking over the city:

Of course there'll be a lot more great pictures to follow!

wordless wednesday: From one seed and one plant- Wordless Wednesday. - 09/08/10 04:32 PM
Close ups of the "ordinary" marigold plant in my front garden.
From One seed came  one large plant with many many blooms.
Amazing difference in each flower.
From far away, they all blend together and may look the same.

On closer inspection- each has a unique and special beauty.
If one simple plant can produce so much diversity,
imagine what one family, and one group of people can produce.

Two blooms together, while blending well, will each show a beauty of it's own.

Look closely at everything in life, and don't take one flower to look like another.

wordless wednesday: semi WORDLESS WEDNESDAY- March went out like a Deer in North Carolina - 04/01/09 07:36 AM

In a follow up to my post  March coming in like a lion in Apex on March 3, this is North Carolina on March 31, going out like a lamb deer.. We have a beautiful warm sunny day. The tree are just starting to bloom. And to make it even more perfect, I was visited by my deer family.
There are actually 4 deer here, but 2 were lying down while these 2 stood guard about 30 feet from my back door where I was standing.  I talk to them very softly and they'll just stand there and listen. My daughter … (8 comments)

wordless wednesday: I can't post a Wordless Wednesday - Apex North Carolina - 12/10/08 08:02 AM

Is it just a female thing, or being a Realtor, or just because I like to talk that I can't have  "wordless Wednesday"? And whereas a picture may say 1000 words, a little background information sometimes brings a lot more meaning to the picture.
This picture was taken about a month ago in Crowder Park, Apex, North Carolina. Now that the leaves are off the trees and everything is grey and bare, seeing this picture again with the colors and the reflection on the water give reminds me of the warm day and the walk with my sister and the dog.
