We are a patriotic family and proud of it! Celebrating America on the Fourth of July is an annual event that is special to us. Some of our favorite family memories are of the Fourth of July celebrations at the La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club.
The La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club was originally opened in 1927 as the La Jolla Beach & Yacht Club. William and Florence Scripps Kellogg purchased the property in 1935 in order to create an oceanfront resort that would attract out-of-town visitors, as well as local La Jolla residents. The San Diego night sky will soon be filled with displays of fireworks on the Fourth of July! Residents from all over San Diego will be able to view fireworks in a variety of locations including:
